Abstract -
Apriori algorithm has been vital algorithm in
association rule mining. The main idea of this algorithm
is to find useful frequent patterns between different set
of data. It is a simple and traditional algorithm,
Apriori employs an iterative approach known as level
wise search. But, this algorithm yet have many
drawbacks. Based on this algorithm, this paper
indicates the limitation of the original Apriori
algorithm of wasting time for scanning the whole
database searching on the frequent itemsets, and
presents an improvement on Apriori by reducing that
wasted time.
