Abstract
Remote work has changed the modern workplace landscape, bringing flexibility and demanding security in remote access to corporate resources. Apache Guacamole is a clientless remote desktop gateway that responds to this demand. It provides users with remote access without software installation on the client side. Hence, it is an almost seamless experience across various devices and platforms, greatly enhancing accessibility and usability for remote teams. The paper covers various use cases of Apache Guacamole in Remote Work Environments, focusing on security, ease of deployment, cross-platform support, and scalability. With examples, this paper sheds light on how Apache Guacamole supports multi-tenancy, collaboration, and strong administrative controls and empowers organizations to overcome some common challenges encountered with remote work.
